AUTOWAY WOVEN FABRICS have been designed for use in a variety of civil engineering applications from road works and drainage systems to erosion control projects and have been found to be ideal in areas where poor ground conditions prevail and weak sub-soil is evident.

AUTOWAY FABRICS are woven from extruded polypropylene tapes with a very low specific gravity, producing a product of regular construction with a high strength to weight ratio.

AUTOWAY FABRICS will not absorb any appreciable amount of moisture and are unaffected by soil alkalinity or soil acidity making them ideal in road and drainage applications. Properly installed AUTOWAY FABRICS will retain their high strength and other properties for many years.

SELECTION OF AUTOWAY FABRICS - AUTOWAY 200

Autoway 200 is the main Heavyweight contender. It is ideally suited in road construction where there is a requirement for a high load bearing capability and where the sub-grade is of inferior quality. Autoway 200 combines high strength, abrasion resistance and higher permeability than comparable, non-woven Heavyweights.

Autoway 200 has been used on prestigious projects such as the M65 Blackburn By-Pass (Tarmac) and the M77 Ayr Road Upgrading (Wimpey).

Autoway 200 has also for many years been the main fabric used in road construction projects in the demanding conditions experienced in the Scottish Highlands.
